YWAM Arua - A Bridge of Healing to the Nations

About YWAM Arua

YWAM Arua is called to be a sending Base, to train, equip and mobilize into missions. Training leaders in our Crossroads Training School (CDTS) accomplish these goals. It is an intensive six months course designed with a holistic approach aimed at personal character development cultivating a living relationship with God and ministering to the needs of people. Once the leaders have caught the vision, they will be able to support their young people as we mobilise them through the DTS to reach the unreached and go out to the nations. We aim to light the fire in their hearts for missions by running Go Camps.

Our desire is to see bases started and established in Eastern Congo, Central Africa Republic, and Southern Sudan. Currently we give support to the base in Yei Southern Sudan.

About Northern Uganda

Arua is in the extreme north west of Uganda. It sits amongst some of the most war torn nations of Africa. Northern Uganda has seen almost 25 years of brutal rebel activity by the notorious Lords Resistance Army. To the north of Arua, southern Sudan has seen an incredible forty years of war and suffering between the Arab north and the black south. To the west DR Congo has had a vicious seven years of fighting over mineral wealth as the central government collapsed from within.
